If tax-exempt status is later granted, the treatment of any contribution will depend on the IRS determination and applicable law. Please consult your tax adviser about the treatment of any contribution.

Review and acceptance
All donations and sponsorship offers are reviewed and accepted on a case-by-case basis. HECJ may decline, return, or place conditions on a proposed contribution as permitted by applicable law and any written agreement.
Acceptance of a donation or sponsorship does not imply HECJ’s agreement with, endorsement of, or support for the contributor’s views, products, services, policies, or other activities. It does not provide the contributor control over the Lab’s governance, research methods, findings, publications, policy positions, or selection of partners.
Any acknowledgment, recognition, reporting, or other sponsorship terms must be expressly agreed to in writing by HECJ. No sponsorship level by itself guarantees a particular benefit or outcome.
